YapStone requires its merchants to submit a valid W-9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) in order to collect the merchant’s legal name, address, TIN and certification that the merchant is not subject to backup withholding. The W-9 form information needs to match the details you provided at the time of your application, as a 1099-K will be issued to the entity that is contractually bound to Yapstone.
Please use the below link to securely complete a Form W-9 through DocuSign:
W-9 Form - Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification
If you have multiple accounts, please include the property number(s)/name(s) affected in Box 7 of the Form W-9.
Once submitted, we will review your Form W-9 and apply the updated information to your payment account.
Please do not complete a Form W-9 if you need to update your payment account information (e.g. name, address…) but visit “how do I update my account details?” instead.
