- Guests claim they cancelled their reservation within cancellation policy and never used the property.
- Guests claim they were charged for additional amenities or services but did not receive them (i.e. pool could not be used, recreation room not available, etc.).
Quality of Services/Property Not as Described
Common reasons for this type of chargeback
- Guests claim that the property was not clean and functional (e.g. mold, dust, pet odors or stains, or heat or air conditioning not working, etc.).
- Guests claim that the property did not match the description as advertised.
- Guests claim that the property owner switched properties, and the property that they were given was not comparable to the property they made the reservation for.
Fraudulent Transaction
- The cardholder claims they have no knowledge of the transaction and did not authorize it.
